Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PWWP2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PWWP2B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher PWWP2B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PWWP2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, ACC, and BLCA are the cancer types where PWWP2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
