Across TCGA patient cohorts, PVALB mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 69 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PVALB-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU4-27P, MIR6815, and GABRG3-AS1. Each is linked with PVALB in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PVALB-to-partner and partner-to-PVALB results are reported.
