Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PUM3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PUM3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PUM3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PUM3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and ESCA are the cancer types where PUM3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
