Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTTG1IP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTTG1IP data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PTTG1IP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTTG1IP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA are the cancer types where PTTG1IP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
