Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRO mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,662 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRO-associated genes across cancer lineages are TIMM17A, SNX24, and FH. Each is linked with PTPRO in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRO-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRO results are reported.
