Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRF protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,450 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRF-associated genes across cancer lineages are GYPC, IFFO1, and FLI1. Each is linked with PTPRF in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRF-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRF results are reported.
