Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPRF mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,149 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPRF-associated genes across cancer lineages are SAPCD2, ZWILCH, and SPDL1. Each is linked with PTPRF in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPRF-to-partner and partner-to-PTPRF results are reported.
