Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTPRD-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PTPRD-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher PTPRD-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTPRD-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and UCS show a favorable association.

ESCA, UCS, and OV are the cancer types where PTPRD-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
