Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTPN23 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTPN23 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher PTPN23 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTPN23 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
PAAD, STAD, and READ are the cancer types where PTPN23 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
