Across TCGA patient cohorts, PTPA protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 20,249 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PTPA-associated genes across cancer lineages are TBC1D13, USP20, and ALAD. Each is linked with PTPA in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PTPA-to-partner and partner-to-PTPA results are reported.
