Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTOV1-AS2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PTOV1-AS2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PTOV1-AS2 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTOV1-AS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and PAAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, KIRC, and PAAD are the cancer types where PTOV1-AS2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
