Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTMA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTMA data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PTMA Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTMA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LUAD, and DLBC are the cancer types where PTMA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
