Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTH2R RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PTH2R data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher PTH2R RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTH2R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and KIRC show a favorable association.
UVM, ACC, and THCA are the cancer types where PTH2R RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
