Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTH1R mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTH1R data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PTH1R mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTH1R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.
CCRCC are the cancer types where PTH1R mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
