Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMG2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMG2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PSMG2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD and SKCM are the cancer types where PSMG2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
