Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMG2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMG2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PSMG2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMG2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LSCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, GBM, and LSCC are the cancer types where PSMG2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
