Across TCGA patient cohorts, PSME2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,284 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PSME2-associated genes across cancer lineages are ETV7, IRF1, and APOL3. Each is linked with PSME2 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PSME2-to-partner and partner-to-PSME2 results are reported.
