Across TCGA patient cohorts, PSMD9 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,804 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PSMD9-associated genes across cancer lineages are GSTA4, STN1, and TRIM22. Each is linked with PSMD9 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PSMD9-to-partner and partner-to-PSMD9 results are reported.
