Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMD8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMD8 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PSMD8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMD8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where PSMD8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
