Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMD3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMD3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PSMD3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMD3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PSMD3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
