Across TCGA patient cohorts, PSMC2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,656 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PSMC2-associated genes across cancer lineages are PABPC5, KCNA5, and SYNPO2. Each is linked with PSMC2 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PSMC2-to-partner and partner-to-PSMC2 results are reported.
