Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMA8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMA8 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PSMA8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMA8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC are the cancer types where PSMA8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
