Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PSMA4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PSMA4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher PSMA4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PSMA4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THCA, PRAD, and ACC are the cancer types where PSMA4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
