Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRRC2B RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PRRC2B data layer compared with 13 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PRRC2B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRRC2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UCS show a favorable association.
KIRC, ACC, and UCS are the cancer types where PRRC2B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
