Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRR18 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRR18 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PRR18 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRR18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM are the cancer types where PRR18 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
