Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRMT8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,708 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PRMT8-associated genes across cancer lineages are ARF6, RNU6-1310P, and RIMS1. Each is linked with PRMT8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRMT8-to-partner and partner-to-PRMT8 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, PRMT8 versus ARF6 in PDAC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.51.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PRMT8→partner) and Y-score (partner→PRMT8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
