PRMT8

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRMT8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,097 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRMT8-associated genes across cancer lineages are AOC1, ARHGAP11A, and AQP1. Each is linked with PRMT8 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRMT8-to-partner and partner-to-PRMT8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, AOC1 grouped by PRMT8-low versus PRMT8-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PRMT8→partner) and Y-score (partner→PRMT8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
