Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRMT5 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,156 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRMT5-associated genes across cancer lineages are MTATP6P21, RN7SL248P, and RNA5SP285. Each is linked with PRMT5 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRMT5-to-partner and partner-to-PRMT5 results are reported.
