Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRKCG RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PRKCG data layer compared with 9 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PRKCG RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRKCG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and SCLC show a favorable association.
KIRC, SKCM, and SCLC are the cancer types where PRKCG RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
