Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRKAA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PRKAA1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher PRKAA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PRKAA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PRKAA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
