Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRKAA1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,514 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRKAA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PRKAB1, FOXM1, and CHP1. Each is linked with PRKAA1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRKAA1-to-partner and partner-to-PRKAA1 results are reported.
