Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRELP protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,095 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRELP-associated genes across cancer lineages are SMOC2, PTGIS, and INMT. Each is linked with PRELP in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRELP-to-partner and partner-to-PRELP results are reported.
