Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PREB mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PREB data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PREB mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PREB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and COAD show a favorable association.

LUAD, PDAC, and LSCC are the cancer types where PREB mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
