Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PRDX2P3 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PRDX2P3’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where PRDX2P3 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PRDX2P3 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUSC and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
HNSC, CHOL, and LUSC are the cancer types where PRDX2P3 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
