Across TCGA patient cohorts, PRDM16 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 79 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PRDM16-associated genes across cancer lineages are Caspase-7-cleavedD198, 4E-BP1, and eIF4E. Each is linked with PRDM16 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PRDM16-to-partner and partner-to-PRDM16 results are reported.
