Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP5C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP5C data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PPP5C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP5C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, SKCM, and CHOL are the cancer types where PPP5C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
