Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP2R2DP1 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PPP2R2DP1’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where PPP2R2DP1 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PPP2R2DP1 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
COAD, KICH, and LUSC are the cancer types where PPP2R2DP1 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
