Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP2R2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP2R2B data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher PPP2R2B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP2R2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
DLBC, SCLC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PPP2R2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
