Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP2CB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPP2CB data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PPP2CB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP2CB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, CESC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PPP2CB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
