Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R9A-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPP1R9A-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher PPP1R9A-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1R9A-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and LUAD show a favorable association.

READ, KIRC, and KICH are the cancer types where PPP1R9A-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
