Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPP1R1A RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPP1R1A data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher PPP1R1A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPP1R1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and DLBC show a favorable association.
UVM, KIRC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PPP1R1A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
