Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPM1H mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPM1H data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PPM1H mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPM1H expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and PDAC show a favorable association.
LUAD, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where PPM1H mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
