Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPM1E RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPM1E data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher PPM1E RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPM1E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and KIRC show a favorable association.

UVM, ACC, and PAAD are the cancer types where PPM1E RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
