Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPIF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPIF data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher PPIF Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPIF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC and COAD are the cancer types where PPIF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
