Across TCGA patient cohorts, PPIB mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 400 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PPIB-associated genes across cancer lineages are MTATP6P29, MRPS18BP2, and RN7SL162P. Each is linked with PPIB in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PPIB-to-partner and partner-to-PPIB results are reported.
