Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPIAP58 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 8 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PPIAP58’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where PPIAP58 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PPIAP58 is over-expressed in tumor.

LUAD, HNSC, and STAD are the cancer types where PPIAP58 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
