Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPIAP49 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPIAP49 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PPIAP49 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPIAP49 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and CESC show a favorable association.
STAD, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where PPIAP49 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
