Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPIAL4E RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPIAL4E data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher PPIAL4E RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPIAL4E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and BRCA show a favorable association.

MESO, COAD, and ACC are the cancer types where PPIAL4E RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
