Across TCGA patient cohorts, PPIA mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 28 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PPIA-associated genes across cancer lineages are CCDC103, SMIM28, and LINC02210-CRHR1. Each is linked with PPIA in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PPIA-to-partner and partner-to-PPIA results are reported.
