Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPFIBP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPFIBP1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PPFIBP1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPFIBP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and OV show a favorable association.
UCEC, OV, and SKCM are the cancer types where PPFIBP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
